School year 2011-2012

My girls started school Thursday and it has been too quiet around here. This year Allie is a big 1st grader. The first day of school was orientation day and I really like her teacher so far. I'm also very impressed at the organization of this school. One new thing is Allie wants to be known as Alexandria now. She learned how to spell it this summer and she introduced herself to her friends using her long name.

My Dani started 4K or 4 year old kindergarten. She only goes in the morning so the afternoon is a little more exciting. She decided she wanted to be a bus rider so we enrolled her on the bus. I like that she only rides with other kids in her class (no big 5th grader to scare her). Most elementary schools don't offer the 4k program at there school so Dani and Alexandria attend different schools. So far she likes her teacher and a couple of girls in her class. She even sits by someone on the bus but can't remember her name.
