Sharing Talent, Cereal, Field trip

A friend of mine from back in my college days has two adorable boys and last winter I remember her putting hats on her blog that she had knitted. They were awesome. I asked her to make my little man one and she was eager to share her talent with us. It is a little big but it will be perfect for the entire winter since he is a growing boy. I LOVE the hat and it looks adorable on him. Thank you so much Carrie.

Learning how to eat cereal. I have always loved when my kids went to the three meals a day. I have always been eager to get them on baby foods. At his recent appointment I was thrilled when the doctor recommended he start on rice cereal. We are hoping it will help with his spitting up and it has a little. I think the more he learns to swallow the cereal it will only get better.

Allie's class took a field trip to the pumpkin patch. I went along and a chaperoned, which made me feel very adult like and motherly!! They had a corn maze, spook house (which to Allie was terrifying), corn shooter, goats, and a tractor ride out to the pumpkin patch. Along the way we stopped to see Mable and Molly the farmers horses. This was the best part of the field trip for Allie. She took multiple pictures of the horses. She was a bit disappointed she had to stay on the wagon and wave to the horses.
