SPRING THAW!
I'm not sure if I should include this cause I didn't do very well. But my sister Ashley and I supports the Athletic Training department Fundraiser and ran/walked in the 5K Spring Thaw. I trained mildly for the race, but it still took me 40 minutes to finish the run/walk. Oh well I guess I did it and finished before Ashley!!

Ashley had help crossing the finish line, but I probably need it more than she did. I was a LOT more tired cause I'm older and more out of shape.
When I was 5 I wore Allie's dress to prom when I was the mini prom queen! Dani's dress I wore around the same time for a wedding when I was the mini bride.
She is wearing snow boots to give her height. She will have my shortness problem!
She called this her marrying dress!
She has a really cute personality that is just starting to really show!

MOTHER'S DAY PRESENT FROM SCHOOL
On Thursday Allie made a mother's day present at school. She also filled out a paper that asked question about her mom.
My mom is _____ years old. Allies answer....My mom is old enough to wear beautiful earrings.
My mom's Favorite color is red and purple.
My mom's favorite food is Taco bell tacos.
I like when my mom cooks spagetti and hot dogs for dinner.
My mom looks prettiest when she wears her wedding dress.
I love my mom because she gives me hugs and kisses.
She knows me very well. However I am not going to learn anymore delicate dishes for supper if she like the hot dogs and spaghetti!!
IS THIS HEREDITARY?
It has been super nice outside for the past few weeks, but especially nice the past few days so we 
have been spending ALL of our time soaking up the Vitamin D. Hence, the lack of updates on the blog. When we go outside everyone puts on some type of shoe. Currently flip flops. But after a few minutes I find shoes in the grass usually a few feet apart without any tiny toes in them. Only one set because Allie keeps her shoes on. Dani must have the
toughest feet around. She NEVER wears her shoes while running around on the grass, sidewalk, and rocks. I have noticed her lack of desire to wear shoes, but the other day while picking up at the end of the day, I found 3 pairs of her flip flops in various places in the grass. I guess the only time you need to wear them is when you walk through the door from the house!

IN HEAVEN FOR ALLIE AT A RANCH!
Yesterday it was nice outside again so we went our friend's house for a play date. Dani and Jace are best friends and it is so fun to watch them play. Allie is their little "mommy" and she plays with them also. Mariann and Jace live on ranch so we asked Roy to saddle a horse for a ride. Allie of course was SOOO excited. But when it was time to ride she acted like it was no big deal. She rode around the ring a few times and I noticed this little tiny smile that just said "I'm in heaven." I know my girl very well cause when we got home she VERY excitedly told Mason all about riding the horse. She told him how to make him turn and go a different way (Roy taught her few things), where to stand when walking the horse, and a few other things. She jumped and danced the entire time she talked. Then she wanted to tell everyone about her day. Although this is Allie's heaven, Dani also enjoyed herself. Jace is Dani first best friend and they are really cute together when they play. They have the same type of walk and I'm not sure if it is the age or if it is there personality. We took a tour of the ranch looking at cattle and horses. Jace and Dani were also a step or two behind looking and gazing around. Jace would point out a tractor to Dani, or show her the dog. It is so cute to just watch.

Awesome update!!! Thanks for the giggles. Love those cuties.
You have the cutest girls, I love seeing their smiles! Glad to hear you guys are enjoying the nice weather. It was good to see you at recital too!
