Star Student

Every student in Allie's preschool class has been assigned a day that they are the "Star Student." Thursday April 16th was Allie's day. She was given the poster below with some topics. Favorite foods, color, pets, family, tv/movies, and things you do. She also had to post a picture of herself on the poster. So I asked her what shw liked in each group and without any help from me, she answered them. Favorite food: M&Ms, fruits (she listed off a couple different ones so we just put a pictures of all fruit on the poster), Veggies (again she listed carrots, broccoli, peas, corn, etc so we put a big picture), Green Beans (they needed their own picture), and Spaghetti. Pets: Louie and goldfish.

Favorite Color: Green. (Purple is also her favorite color but she wanted to star colored green on the poster so we colored the rest of the poster purple and green.) Family spot: we put a picture of us then one of just Allie and Dani. Favorite TV shows/movie: Horseland, and Backyardigans. Little Mermaid is still her favorite movie which surprised me cause she hasn't watched it in months. She mostly watches movies with horses on them. Favorite things to do: This is how is anwsered. "I like to swim and go bowling and play with my sister. But I LOVE (very exaggerated) to go horseback riding." So those are the pictures and things that made it on her poster. We of course didn't finish the poster until the night before after playing outside all day, but it was fun. She also got to take one toy to show her friends that day. Her brown toy horse Ginger made the trip. I'm sure her favorite part of being the Star Student was; she was the "leader" for the day and was the teacher's helper. Allie is really a fun girl!
