A Hoffman Christmas Party

The entire family was home for Christmas so we went all out for the party. We started the fun already on the 23rd with a game of Apples to Apples of course after the kids were in bed. Christmas Eve day Mason took the girls sledding. I had planned to go but lets face it...I'm better behind the camera...indoors!



We got the presents opened and out of the way before we started the games. Ike got a stroller his mom was begging for!! It folds up compact unlike the current one we have.



And a book.

GAMES

Since we had a new member attend our party (welcome Kellie) we brought back a few of our favorite games. In this game you have to put on winter gear...hat, mitten and scarf then try opening a wrapped gift. Ashley wraps them well and inside one large box are smaller and smaller boxes. This year there was a fun twist of prizes along the way and Another set of winter gear. And to top it off a good gift and a bad gift. Congrats to Kellie for winning the good gift and Ethan for winning the bad....a cat plug in night light.

Biting while trying to open is not off limits and a very useful way of starting the opening.

I had the hardest time getting the gloves on....

The next game is my least favorite but everyone else likes it. It is Good Santa/Bad Santa. Every couple brings a good gift and a bad gift. I hate the game because I always feel bad for those who go home with our bad gift. Like one year we brought an obnoxious pink cozy toilet seat (Mason comes up with the bad gift) and even wrapped it so you basically knew what it was. Ethan opened it anyway....then brought it back this year!

I opened Superman underpants. Since we had decided to model any type of clothing gift I started off the fun! I think they look great.

Destinee brought our gift. A picture of a dog's but with sunglasses ironed onto a t-shirt. Mason about peed his pants making this.

MINUTE TO WIN IT!

Mason was in charge of a game this year. Inspired by the television show minute to win it, and we had a ton of laughing and even some naughty words!!

We had to eat an oreo that started on our forehead, without using our hands. It gets hard when you start laughing.

I got to this point, started laughing which would shake to oreo off my face. Then I had to start over with the oreo on my head.

I don't know if my mom ever completed the task. Their team (Kellie, Ethan and Mom) came in last place in this challenge, but placed second overall.

Another game of the series...We had to knock over cans using an orange inside of pantyhose that were on our heads of course without hands. This game my team (Ashley, Destinee, myself) came in first.

Rochelle, Dad and Nick were the winners. Congrats! These are the only pictures that I have. We had more challenges so if I get my hands on those pictures I'll add. It was a fantastic night. We ended the night sharing stories around the Christmas tree.
