I just wanted to share a quick update on how things have been in the land of pregnancy. Since most things are going smoothly it won't be long. Ike(Isaac) is growing at the right pace. He is past kicking and now just stretches. Maybe in a few weeks we'll identify a foot through my skin. The girls have taken on a different excitement. Allie keeps asking if Ike is big enough to come out yet. Dani on the other hand talks to him and says hi multiple time during the day.
I have a complication. I have low iron. Thankfully nothing serious. My doctor has prescribed IV iron for three weeks. I go in once a week, get my dose of energy, and I'm sent on my way. Well that is the plan, but my first dose didn't go so well. I almost passed out and had to recover from the dizzy, lightheaded, nausea, sweats, ect before the iron was even hooked up properly. I'm hoping that is was a one time ordeal but my next visit I'm taking my mom with me. I know I need iron cause I'm exhausted. It took me four days to recover from our spring break vacation and two days to recover after an Easter egg hunt with the family (it was for the adults with one round for Allie and Dani).
Anyway, when days get long I simply chant 'nine more weeks'. Side note: I took a small tour of the hospital I'll be delivering at and I am very impressed. The nurses were great, the nursery looked fabulous and the rooms look comfortable (for a hospital)! Say it with me now...NINE MORE WEEKS, NINE MORE WEEKS!!!!
