I have officially bypassed an entire month without an update, not that it was a goal or anything. I do apologize to those who check our blog regularly. All in all we are doing well.
Allie has started 4K and loves it. She has been on a few field trips this week. Yesterday the class went to a place called Down on the Farm. I asked if she wanted me to come but she requested I stay home and let her go with her class. So I did just that. She had her first bus ride and the field trip in general was great, according to her. She is in a dance class on Wednesday which turned out to be just ballet. She is doing very well and I think she is the best one in a class of 7. She knows the positions, the dance and she listens. I'm very impressed with the teacher and her creative way of teaching the kids, and she teaches the official terms as well.
Dani is still my buddy. She is doing gymnastics again on Mondays and we have graduated to the point she now walks into class by herself!! One tiny concern, she will NOT run around the room during the warm up song. She quietly stands or sits on her spot and waits. If the teachers makes her, we have tears. After the warm up run though we are good to go and she participates with the class. Dani's latest thing...she LOVES Scooby Doo. The kid hates real life men but big scary cartoon monsters she can handle. Last night she asked if she could go in the movie by scooby because he is really funny.
Mason is back at school and clinicals and work and studying and.....so basically we never see him. One plus is he is home by 8pm on week nights which is an improvement.
Tara does just the same old thing. I run Allie to school, Dani to gymnastics, read books to the girls, cook without any casterophies lately, and all the other things being at home includes. I have to brag though...I have read 30 books this year so far. Most of them during the lovely long summer days that I miss so much. My garden that I planted did ok. No green bean plants, cucumber, or lettuce came, but the 4 pepper plants I had produced a whole 1 small pepper. My 12 tomato plants did very well and I got 14 (?) jars of salsa. I ate 4 zuccinis and we had a surprise pumpkin plant in one of out flower pots that produced a small pumpkin. I definately don't have a green thumb but it is an improvement from my first garden which produce absolutely NOTHING!
So that is the run down. I will post Halloween pictures in a few weeks. HAPPY FALL!
