Nana Kay and Papa Dave sent the girls money for christmas, so they could go to the toy store to pick out the gifts they would like the best. Unfortunately the closest toy store is in Appleton about a hour and 15 minute drive for us. We of course have Target, Walmart and KMart but when selecting the perfect gift from grandparents it NEEDS to be from an actual store that specializes in toys. Dani picked the cash register. Kind of strange selection, but she found every single brand that made this particular toy (Barbie store, hello kitty,etc). She loves playing with it and it also came with something she is thinks is just great...CASH!
Allie finally got the Sleeping Beauty horse and doll she has been dreaming about. This is not just any regular toy horse. I walks all by itself, and lowers his head with a touch of the button. Sleeping beauty lights up and turns different colors with the fairy on her hand. We looked all over the toy store for the perfect gift for her and when she saw this items...she had to take them home! Since after christmas sales are great we had a little money left so we took the girls to Chuck E Cheeses for dinner. They had fun riding the little rides and playing a few games. Allie even got to shake ChuckE's hand. Dani was TERRIFIED of the walking mouse! Anyway it was a fun post-christmas evening. Thanks you Nana and Papa Smith. I hope we found the best christmas gifts!
